We’re kicking off a sermon series called “I AM“ which focuses on the seven “I am ___ ” statements of Jesus in the gospel of John. He describes himself as the light of the world, the true vine, the good shepherd, and many others. This week we’re focusing on the bold claim that Jesus made, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, whoever believes in me will never thirst.” As a people that are hungry and longing for spiritual sustenance, we can hold onto this promise today.
